Hi! I’m Caroline (Across Countries), long-time travel enthusiast, short-time travel blogger, and I’m here to share all of my travel stories, tips, experiences, regrets, and everything in between! I consider my personal travel journey to have begun with my experience as an au pair after graduating university. Since then I have lived as a local, traveled as a tourist, solo traveled, road-tripped, luxury traveled, budget traveled, you name it. My favorite pastime is planning trips, whether real ones I intend to take or ones just for fun, so I thought it was fitting to get a job in the tourism industry. Now I am working as a luxury travel advisor and still taking my own budget travel trips on the side (my favorite method of travel). It’s the best of both worlds!
My independence and curiosity of other cultures has always pushed me to break out of my comfort zone and experience life beyond the bubble that I’ve become so accustomed to. My biggest fear is to look back on my life and regret not living more of it. There’s so much world out there to see, so go see it!
